Brendan Dougherty is a Respiratory & Sleep Medicine Specialist.
Born in Scotland, he graduated from the University of Glasgow MBChB in 2003.
He migrated to Australia in 2007, and trained in respiratory medicine & sleep medicine at Flinders Medical Centre, Repatriation General Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
He was awarded FRACP in 2012.
He returned to Adelaide in early 2016 following 2.5 years of post FRACP fellowship training in lung cancer, pleural disease and interventional pulmonology, both at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge UK, and the British Columbia Cancer Agency, Vancouver, Canada.
