DrJien Cheng is a specialist in Respiratory and Sleep medicine. She graduated from the University of Adelaide and completed her Advanced training in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and The Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia. Her advanced training included a year with special interests in pleural diseases followed by a year focusing on Sleep Medicine.
Dr Jien Cheng’s practice encompasses all aspects of thoracic and sleep medicine, including insertion and management of chest drains, bronchoscopies, sleep disorders and non-invasive ventilation. She has also previously been actively involved in research and teaching.
She interacts well with both her patients and colleagues and values good communication with the patients’ wider care team (GPs and other specialists).
